The Opportunity & Role
Due to strong and sustained growth, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Compliance Officer to join the Operations team.
You will work in an exciting, highly dynamic and collaborative team where you will be encouraged and supported to develop and broaden your compliance skills. The Compliance Officer will assist in delivering high quality, effective and timely assessments of our energy efficiency projects. The Compliance Officer's main responsibility is the assessment of pre and post documentation for state LED REPS, VEU, ESS Commercial Lighting and HEER rebate schemes which meet strict guidelines. You may also be responsible for assisting in our Solar processing including quotations, designs, electrical drawings, installation coordination with clients and contractors, and final rebate compliance, as required.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining our compliance framework and working with the Operations Manager and Compliance Team on the delivery of multiple projects
Ensuring our business meets all of our LED rebate compliance obligations without compromise
Desktop and phone audits for pre and post site audits including, data and photographic evidence
Basic CAD designs and data entry to InDesign templates
Management of the Solar process
Willing to work as a team and deliver on KPIs
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable compliance experience in energy efficiency field is preferred but not essential
An ability to work in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
Highly organised, time management skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to work under pressure when required
Ability to draw basic floorplans and use of InDesign is preferred but not essential
Candidate will ideally possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
Solar Experience preferred but not essential
