Job Description
The EHS/Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for assisting in oversight of Environment, Health, and Safety compliance within the Asia Pacific region including but not limited to facilities based in Mayalasia, Republic of the Philippines (Philippines), and Republic of Korea (South Korea). Key roles will include the preparation of different EHS/Sustainability reports required for government and corporate reporting. He will be providing any support required by the Global EHS Function. He will work closely with various stakeholders to carry out his mandate: a. Corporate EHS, b. Facility EHS Personnel, c. EHS/Sustainability Process leaders, and d. Customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provides oversight and assurance of Environment, Health, Safety programs for facilities in the Asia Pacific Region.
Collects, verifies and prepares Sustainability reports including but not limited to Facility Resources; Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Productivity, Research & Development/Product Development, Compliance, Learining & Development, Talet Acquisition, Human Resources, Compliance Audit. Responsible Care Audit, and Management System Data.
Prepares Weekly, Monthly and yearly Environment, Health and Safety Reports for Department and Corporate reporting
Provides Safery Data Sheet; and respond to any customers' questionnaires
Participates on Weekly Safety Briefs
Manages the Environment, Health and Safety Information Management System
Reviews, develops and updates standard operating procedures for the reports he is responsible for
Participates in Annual Sustainability Benchmarking exercise
Propose Environment, Health and Safety process improvements
Other duties and projects assigned by the Global EHS Function lead
Job Specifications
Knowledge of EHS regulations and reporting
Knowledge on EHS management systems and related software
Familiar with OSHA standards and regulations
Proficient in MS Office Suite applications and SAP
5 years working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety area
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering or any EHS related discipline.
