Description:
The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager provides plans and direction to the organization in terms of Environment, Health and Safety and improve the environmental and safety performance of the plant.
» Implementation of systems and procedures located on international standards and requirements.
» Implement continuous improvement on practices and procedures.
» Facilitate availcapability of resources and budget for the EHS requirements
» Management of allocated budget and facilitate expenditures at most reasonable cost.
» Establishment and implementation of Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
» Implement actions and programs to prevent / reduce the occurrence of emergency / accidents / incidents
» Establishment and regular testing of emergency preparedness and response procedures.
» Provide recommendations on system improvements to other commissary.
» Conduct assessment and audits to other commissaries.
» Provide other needs and requirements of the commissary in terms of EHS.
» Institute EHS Training system and personnel consciousness activities.
» Institute and maintain required EHS organizations (Safety Committee, ERT, etc)
» Abides Company Policies, Rules and Regulations on Discipline, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Quality Schemes, Safety, and other related Company Policies being implemented.
» Perform other job or skills related assignments
Requirements:
» Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's or College Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical, or in Chemistry
» At least 8 years work related practice on environment & safety
» Must have Pollution Control agent (PCO) Accreditation & Safety Offer (SO) Accreditation
» expertiseable in conducting of risk assessment and compliance to legal EHS requirements
» Preferably a licensed Engineer or Chemist
