The Opportunity
This role will be responsible in monitoring, coordinating and implementing all JHPI activities related to environment, health and safety standards, policies and procedures. Their main purpose is to promote and provide a safe working environment to ensure zero incidences among JHPI employees and its resources, and to monitor compliance to government and statutory requirements.
To develop and implement Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, systems and procedures
To identify hazards, assess risks to Environment, Health and Safety, put appropriate controls in place and provide advice about Incident/ Accident prevention to management and employees.
To ensure compliance to government and statutory requirements
About You
Graduate of Engineering or related course
Minimum of 5 years experience in Environment, Health and Safety,
Preferably accredited Safety Practitioner
Preferably accredited Pollution Control Officer (LLDA & DENR)
Knowledge in local EHS legislation and statutory requirements
Knowledge in safety and risk management principles
Background in ISO certification
Capable of implementing safety programs and procedures including enforcement of the company's EHS rules and regulations
Good presentation skills and capable of effectively conducting EHS related trainings and seminars
Willing to be assigned in Cabuyao Plant
