As an ECommerce Virtual Assistant, you will perform a blend of marketing and administrative tasks, including answering emails, scheduling meetings, writing product descriptions, editing images for website and mailers, and creating newsletters. For this role, a strong Internet connection is required, along with experience using communication tools. Ultimately, you should be able to handle the assigned projects and deliver high-quality work under minimum supervision.
Some of the tasks are:
-Sourcing product assets (images, copy, size charts, etc) from manufacturers
-Editing and Photoshopping images for website, social and e-mailers
-Merchandising of the site loading photography, artwork and quality control\
-Onsite content uploading
-Managing the product upload calendar each season.
-Reviewing website content for accuracy
-Working closely with management for onsite optimisations such as product recommendations and identify upselling/cross selling opportunities within the marketplaces
-Working with the Director to create and execute email marketing newsletters
-Performing other administrative tasks as may be assigned.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must have:
-At least 2 years of relevant work experience
-Experience working with multi-brand retailers with large product catalogues (highly regarded).
-Experience with planning and execution, ideally with Klayvio or MailChimp.
-Exceptional written communication skills, including experience with brand copywriting e.g. online product. Descriptions & EDM content.
-Some Graphic Design experience and high familiarity with Adobe Creative suite (editing, photoshop etc).
-Experience working with third part digital sales channels and online marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, catch, Facebook etc. Multi-Vendor)
-Intermediate to advanced Photoshop skills.
