Purpose of the role
Harrier is a profitable and growing digital printing business, committed to be the world's most customer focused personalised and on demand printer. We fulfil a wide portfolio of printed products for large household-name clients including Snapfish, Funky Pigeon, Freeprints, Boots, Tesco, Jessops, and Asda, delivering these products directly to the consumer.
Our ERP system Dynamics Business Central 365 has been implemented over a decade by a part time Consultant. As Harrier has grown the increased need for business process automation and simplification across the Harrier groups has never been so required. This new role will be full time, permanent as part of growing our ERP function that enables more rapid project delivery and drive to deliver successful outcomes with our ERP system.
We have a 3 year plan that takes in upgrades to the current version of Business Central, significant embedding of existing modules and implementing specific modules like Tasklet Factory to improve our stock management process. This role will be pivotal in enabling this.
Key responsibilities & tasks * Own the development of the Dynamics Business Central 365 platform, using associated C/AL and Extensions to fulfil the requirements of the Harrier Group.
Deliver ERP projects with conversion to extensions, upgrade from BC14, stock management and supporting the embedding of Sales Order modules,
Work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and the Technical Architect to build applications that integrate with the ERP and Workflow to support the transfer of data and simplify the use between Harrier's business systems
Be the escalation point from the support helpdesk for any application issues with the platform
Support the management and maintenance activity of the backend of the platform with the Infrastructure Team
Requirements
Key Skills
C/AL and Extensions within a Microsoft Dynamics Business Central environment
C# .Net, MS SQL, TypeScript/JavaScript
Delivering software development projects as an individual or part of a team following a recognised project methodology
Problem solving
Ability to translate a business process in to the ERP process to create successful outcomes
Improvement focus
Results orientation
Business awareness of a manufacturing environment
Experience with WCF, MVC/WebAPI, XML/JSON, Autofac and Subversion would be beneficial, but not essential
Other Requirements:
Philippines Resident
Excellent Broadband connectivity
Suitable remote working environment
Must have own PC device with reliable broadband and back up connection
