Position Overview
The DWS Financial Reporting team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. You will be primarily responsible for performing legal entity controlling including journal bookings, MECC (cost upload and reporting), Head Office reporting, management reporting, MRP, Plan and Forecast, regulatory reporting and annual statutory audit for the location/entity that you will be assigned. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role.
Your key responsibilities
Completion of Management Review Process (MRP) / Balance Sheet Substantiation, Sub-ledger reconciliation, and period over period financial comparison.
Preparation of various MI reports relevant to the business
Preparation of stats account/ year end financial statements for audit
Handle adhoc requests and stakeholder management/escalations
Project Management
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Experience in accounting, finance or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
Combined analytical and problem solving skills
A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
