Job Description:
DWS Accounting Close was established recently within the CFO function in order to optimise the reporting requirements of a publicly-listed asset management company. The team's focus is on the timely production of accurate financials for DWS Group, working globally across the Group Controller function as well as with experts who cover both products and business support areas. Compensation financials are both a material and sensitive cost item and requires working with many senior stakeholders and understanding complex accounting requirements. This role will give the candidate opportunities to work with many DWS senior stakeholders across Finance, HR, COO functions, gain insights into DWS awards accounting and control topics and contribute to establishing a new control framework around DWS Compensation.

Your key responsibilities
Production of monthly validation and control for balance sheet and P&L Delivery of Global and Regional balance sheet substantiation results to Risk and Control Forum (RCF) and regional control forums
Identify and design remediation plan for mitigating key risk areas
Facilitate in forming an expectation and validate monthly Flash, Actual, Forecast and Plan results with input from HR and DB Compensation Control
Facilitate late adjustment process and reporting
Preparation of Compensation element of the Interim Report and Annual Report Comp Control Framework
Your skills and experiences
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Experience in accounting, finance or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry would be beneficial
Strong control mindset
Stakeholder management skills combined with effective communications skills
Exposure to a diverse culture and dealings with senior stakeholders
