Duty EngineerCauayan Island Resort

· Supervises and directs the daily activities of the engineering team
· Monitors engineering activities to ensure adherence to established policies, operating procedures and standards
· Forecasts to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation of the department.
· Oversees the implementation, co-ordination and monitoring of the Engineering Management System. This includes the Fire, Life and safety, PPM, Gen Set, Desalination Plant, Refilling Station and job order system.
· Handles any grievances, suggestions and complaints forwarded by colleagues and recommends appropriate action
· Conducts regular communications meetings with all engineering colleagues
· Responsible for appraising and formalizing career development/ training plans for direct reports.
· Submits a comprehensive monthly report to Executive Office.
· Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Departmental policies processes and procedure
· To ensure optimum use of utilities
· To promote the values, hallmarks and guiding principals of the company
· To partake in occupational health and safety initiatives and form part of the companys occupational health and safety committee
· To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
-must have 2 years min experience in a similar position
-working knowledge in an island resort an advantage

- willing to relocate to Palawan
