The Division Head will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies that contribute to the strategic business goals of the company. He/she will be accountable for the overall operations and ensuring targets are consistently met by staying on top of business intelligence activities and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage every aspect of business operations
Provide business mapping and case development based on market analysis, industry and product updates, and performance benchmarking
Provide consultative expertise and drive short, medium, and long-term business direction with consideration to macro factors including economic, regulatory, and other areas potentially impacting business results
Spearhead growth strategies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Drive a productive and collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and all levels of Management
Monitor operational expenses and provide detailed business operating plans and performance reports to Leadership team
Collaborate with product development and leadership team members to agree positioning strategies for services
Build a robust and extensive network of business partnerships and support business development and extending market reach
Build and grow the division not just in terms of market share and operating capacity but also in talent acquisition and management
Maintain business intelligence by analyzing market behavior and competitive trends in target markets
Establish key business processes and internal framework geared towards optimizing operational efficiency
Qualifications
5-10 years experience in business operations or general management in the telecommunications sector
Solid finance and business development skills, keen eye for opportunities, good intuition and ability to create and demonstrate value
Proven track record in creating strong business models or long-range business mapping
Proven ability to think big picture in problem solving and optimizing results
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels including people management and leadership
Strong business acumen, ambition, and integrity to craft compelling win-win partnerships and deals in unique business relationships
Proven track record in identifying, building, and negotiating complex partnerships in diverse markets
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including C-Suite constituents.
Strong analytical skills and able to draw insights and meaningful pitch points from data-driven analysis
Ability to establish credibility and to drive and/or defend business propositions
Highly goal-driven and proactive, and thrives in fast-paced and competitive environments
Independent, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity and unstructured roles
Having in-depth and thorough knowledge of business products and value proposition in local and global telecommunications is preferred
