Responsible for maintaining corporate and departmental Information Technology (IT) security policies and programs. Conduct IT security policy / compliance assessments, analyzing deficiencies and providing recommendations for improvements. Participate in ensuring the assigned business segment meets legislative requirements, industry standards, and client audits. Research and draft IT security policies for assigned business segment in accordance with operational needs.
Essential Duties:
Conduct IT assessments and IT policy/compliance audits and risk assessments
Monitor on-going compliance requirements associated with legislative requirements and compliance portfolio
Perform Identity and Access Management reviews (familiarity with Sailpoint and Onspring an asset)
Perform Elevated Privilege Access reviews (familiarity with Thycotic an asset)
Collaborate with fellow associates, suppliers and customers to meet business or technical requirements
Execute project management disciplines to ensure project activities and tasks are delivered on time and within budget and according to approved scope and quality requirements
Conduct effective investigation, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of incidents / problems
Develop, implement and document solutions in a timely manner and validate with system users that service has been restored
Continue to establish foundation of the company's business processes and the systems that support them.
Diagnose security problems and perform root cause analysis of business processes through established incident and problem management processes.
Validate business functionality requirements for updated and / or new application security roles
Broaden knowledge of business processes and systems specific to assigned duties
Recommend process changes and system solutions to meet business requirements
Work with IT partners across adjacent processes to understand key linkages
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, MIS, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for education requirements.
Typical candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience. Certifications and/or educational experience may count towards experience.
Familiarity with Sailpoint and Onspring an asset (Identity and Access Management)
Familiarity with Thycotic an asset (Elevated Access Management)
Familiarity with the FAIR risk assessment methodology
