Siemens Low Voltage and Products is looking for a Distributor Sales Engineer for the San Antonio, TX market and surrounding areas. This person will carry a multimillion-dollar quota and will be responsible for driving stock product sales within the Channel. This person will be responsible for developing and growing relationships throughout the channel partner organizations. This person will be responsible for driving sales, trainings, programs and promotions at the channel. This person will report to Regional Channel Manager and will have no direct reports.
As the Distribution Sales Engineer, you will:
- Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
- Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits.
- May identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals.
- Assist in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers.
- Develop a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account.
- Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings.
- Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels.
- May develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for sales channels.
Product support to include but not limited to Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC/NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers.
You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered.
- 1+ years of sales experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Self Starter with strong work ethic and committed to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
- Travel required 20%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power distribution & Controls Product sales experience
- Knowledge of LV MV power distribution product line.
Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.

The pay range for this position is $58,500 - $100,400 and is eligible for a Quarterly Sales Commission and a company car.
