Job Description
Monitors the POEA watch list for names of seafarers to be deployed.
Prepares and organizes documents of joining seafarers which they need to bring to their assigned vessel, and ensures that all packages to be given to the seafarers onboard are given to the joining seafarers.
Monitors crew departures and assists departing seafarers at the airport.
Prepares Guarantee Letter for airlines, immigration, and Port Authorities.
Prepares Transmittal Letters to the Master for crew changes.
Prepares letter request for travel allowance.
Ensures that all packages brought in for onboard seafarers are properly logged and sent through joining seafarers.
Handovers to onsigners their travel documents and discuss their flight details, joining ports, and assisting agents.
Monitors onsigners and advises crew operators once joining seafarers have already checked-in and passed the Immigration Counter.
Facilitates the dispatching process for crew members at the airport, if necessary.
Compiles the records, employment contracts, and medical report formalities of seafarers prior to their departure.
Processes employment contracts of seafarers.
Assumes other duties that may be assigned by the Junior Fleet Manager and President & CEO as required by the business exigencies.
