Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the performance oversight and control of line maintenance, base maintenance and workshops via various maintenance providers in order to ensure adherence to the approved maintenance program and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement service levels of maintenance service providers (i.e. base, line, shops and lease return requirements), manage vendors against KPI's and cost targets and recommend the renewal or termination of contracts
Develop and maintain a robust MRO network that delivers the airline the most cost effective base and line maintenance outcomes
Deliver efficient short-term line maintenance activities in conjunction with wider airline network obligations
Oversight of AOG's, delays, operational disruptions and cabin standards/defects. Propose remedial action and work with team to implement same.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be a college graduate of an engineering (general, mechanical, aerospace, electrical/electronics) course
Must have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in the aircraft engineering, fleet management, supply chain or maintenance industry, preferable from various airline/MRO/workshop organizations, handling managerial roles. Must exemplify a sound leadership and ability to build and manage diverse teams
Experience with aircraft lease in/out, lessor and/or airline on lease return projects are an advantage.
Must have maintenance experience at MCC, line maintenance, and base maintenance in an airline or MRO.
