The Director for Corporate Communications will oversee all external communications involving the organization, mainly through media, as well as development of communications strategies for various stakeholders (i.e. investors, government partners) as necessary. Builds, enhances, and protects company reputation through media relations, interviews, and press releases. Monitors pulse of general public through media and leads proactive, Remedial and Promotional/ Marketing Public Relations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements a communications strategy for the organization that builds and maintains a positive corporate reputation.
Provides inputs on internal communications as necessary for unified message cross the board.
Act as the company's Spokesperson and coordinates requests for media interviews concerning any other company employee, including guidance on creation of briefing documents as necessary.
Provide overall guidance and direction for press releases and exclusive articles to be seeded to media by partner PR agencies.
Conduct crisis communications workshops for spokespersons/frontlines as required by OGSM.
Oversees relationship and deliverables of external PR consultants.
