JOB DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Strategist will drive the strategy, planning, and execution of our clients' digital marketing initiatives to achieve their business objectives. Through the creation and execution of search marketing plans, competitive analysis, keyword strategies, bid and budget management, creative optimization, and reporting and analysis, this individual will work to grow sales/conversions, while improving efficiencies and profits through the innovative search strategies of Six Spoke Media.
JOB DUTIES
Perform and generate reports for Paid media campaigns, daily account management of paid media accounts across multiple platforms (Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and others)
Optimize client’s paid media campaigns, audiences, creatives, budgets, and bids across multiple channels to target performance goals and metrics
Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance based on client KPIs and provide actionable insights to the management team.
Understand the client’s product, marketing objectives and digital goals with an emphasis on paid search, and proactively make strategic Paid media campaign recommendations
Keep pace with the latest industry trends, buying strategies, paid media best practices and technologies.
Support the generation of new Paid media campaigns and other paid search advertising initiatives
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for display network, campaign structuring, targeting, keyword opportunities, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals
Work closely with the other team members on advertising to meet client goals
Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
Utilize data modeling and bid management tools to maximize the effectiveness of media campaigns.
Generate daily, weekly and monthly client reporting for all those major metrics such as revenue tracking, goals tracking, and other paid media initiatives
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
BSc/BA in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
Proven experience in Digital Media Campaigns, Paid media strategy, PPC/Paid Search, Google Adwords/BingAdCenter, B2C/B2B
Experience in data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, WebTrends etc.)
Understanding of HTML and XML is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
Excellent communication skills
Analytical thinking with strong math skills
AdWords certification is a plus
