As a Digital Advisory Consultant in the Digital Advisory Team, you will work with our global experts to improve business outcomes for our most important clients. You will consider and work with all aspects of business systems, including people, process, technology, data and governance. The Digital Advisory Consultant role entails providing strategic and tactical advice to enable clients to fulfil their business objectives. This will often involve the exploration of new or existing data and information to provide improved social, environmental and economic outcomes.
The scope of the role includes engaging with clients to undertake: business objectives and requirements identification; current state documentation; maturity assessment; future state development; gap analysis; solution option identification; strategy and improvement roadmap development; solution option development and selection; and development of solutions that harness digital opportunities while also supporting various functional groups (Power, Water, Environment, Transport, Digital Solutions) with business development activities.
It is expected that the Digital Advisory Consultant will have, or will gain knowledge in areas such as the following: Digital Transformation, Digital Strategy, Intelligent Asset Management, Smart Cities, Digital Twins, connected supply chain, intelligent/digital utilities, IT/OT, V2X and IoT platforms etc. Work may be performed across the wide range of markets that Jacobs services, including for example Transport, Water, Power and Health
Qualifications
Digital consulting or advisory experience to provide strategic and tactical advice to enable clients to fulfil their business objectives.
Proven ability in advising and supporting a variety of clients to enhance their digital journey.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to elicit requirements, develop responses and present the way forward.
A relevant tertiary qualification is desired in a related area such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems and ideally a business related degree such and MBA.
