Job Description
Perform inspection, installation, repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and overhaul of diesel engine for Marine, Offshore and Power Generation
Communicate with superior and technicians for briefing of service related works
Prepare necessary service report, ISO work instructions, risk assessment and checklist for all works
Ensure all testing and monitoring equipment/instruments are identified and maintained in good order at all times
Report and document the activities carried out in line with the ISO standards and company requirements
Read and interpret drawings, manuals and code specifications
Manage assign projects, job control, estimation, supervision, coordination of labor force etc.
Liaise with customers and class, agents and other involved parties as well as Goltens departments, sales staff etc. during repair projects from sales/enquiry stage through to completed project
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Marine); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Minimum of 6 years of working experience with engine makers or Marine/Offshore/Power Generation Industry preferably
Excellent knowledge about different types of diesel engines (High speed, Medium speed & Low speed)
Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and diagnostic test to different types of diesel engines from different engine makers
Preferably someone with experience on other mechanical equipment repairing such as Gearboxes, Pumps, Valves, CPP, Thruster
