We need a talented team player to join our team to deliver innovative solutions that help Macquarie businesses meet their Margining and Portfolio Reconciliation obligations to our counterparts and global regulators.
You will be working with a group of multi-talented, diverse people across different geographical locations. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing and maintaining our in-house developed Margining and Collateral Management system.
This key role demands a highly motivated individual who is meticulous, thorough and possesses excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders.
You will actively contribute to the development and enhancement of our Margining platform within the CGM Post Trade and Digital team.
Planning, executing and managing own tasks and responsibilities;
Design, develop, test and deploy good-quality code.
Follow a DevOps attitude using an Agile Development approach. Emphasis on automation - for all aspects of testing, release and managing the production environment.
Own the critical response to platform incidents.
Identifying improvement opportunities in the projects /applications/processes;
We would like to hear from you if you have:
Solid development experience (6+ years) in the following:
.Net
Web API
SQL
Object-oriented programming
Strong front-end/web development skills using AngularJS, JQuery, Javascript, CSS etc.
Can work in a global Devops team environment
Good problem solving skills and be able to work independently
Strong oral and written communication in English
Experience with the following is a big plus:
MSSQL, RDS Database Server
AWS Cloud
C#, ASP.NET Web Forms
ETL, Data Warehouse
Windows Services
Remedy or a similar ticket handling system
Atlassian products (eg. Confluence, Jira, Bamboo, Stash)
Splunk
Key skill requirement
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Excellent customer service capabilities;
Proven skills in pro-actively understanding and resolving technical issues;
Ability to work effectively under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to system problems;
Strong problem solving skills, with accurate decision making abilities;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as well as a team player;
The ability to pick new concepts quickly;
