We are looking for a developer to join a diverse and innovative team that develops and maintains our applications and platforms.
As a DevOps Engineer in our team, you will be working on several projects and various technologies, and also gain exposure to strategic initiatives including Cloud migration. You will work with our highly skilled and geographically-dispersed teams to plan, design, maintain and support responsive web solutions and scalable applications in a DevOps manner.
Key responsibilities:
Analysing and debugging application and system issues
Understanding the relevant application architecture, application functionalities and software design life cycle processes unique to Macquarie
Working with the development team and business, analysing requirements, creating and documenting test cases in a structured and reusable format and designing effective test processes
Performing system integration testing and assisting with UAT and PVT
Defect tracking, recoding, triage, follow-up and resolution
Supporting business analysts and business testers who may not necessarily have a formal testing background
Providing accurate reporting of test progress, risk, and issues
Contributes to continuous improvement in terms of efficiency, reducing risk and automation
Supporting existing applications and handling production incidents
Key skill requirement:
5+ years of C#, ASP .NET Web Forms development experience
RDBMS experience - ideally Sybase or Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with software testing at various levels - unit testing, system/integration testing, automated testing of web applications
Experience using and developing RESTful APIs
Basic skills in Unix scripting
Firm grasp of version control software like GIT
Experience with SDLC tools (e.g Bamboo, JIRA, GIT and Confluence)
Experience using Operations tools like Remedy, Ticketing system, Control-M, Splunk, App Dynamics
