As a JAVA software engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, maintaining our various systems and platforms. You will be a valued member of a DevOps and agile delivery team with a focus on building amazing enterprise systems in the public cloud. Our work environment is modern and inclusive with a strong focus on employee experience. You will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to our thriving ecosystem using modern approaches and technologies in event-driven microservices, system integration, event streaming, stream processing, real time analytics, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
Proficiency in Enterprise JAVA, JAVA 8+ is preferred but not required
Strong background in unit and integration testing
Experience working with SQL and JPA
Experience working with UNIX scripting
Experience using continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools
Demonstrable ability to break down complex problems and solve them systematically
Solid communication skills, able to articulate your thoughts to any audience
Although not required, experience in the following will be highly valued:
Design and implementation of RESTful API services, preferably with Spring Boot
Cloud and containerization technologies
Event and stream processing
