Support a healthy DevOps culture within the organization
Modern mind on solutioning problems with new tech and automation
Works within an agile/scrum environment
Documents requirements, specifications, and solutions as needed
Analyzes team operations and behaviors to continually improve their effectiveness
Performs maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations
Assists with setup and maintenance of environments from other teams
Stays current with DevOps trends, tool sets, and best practices
Part of a rotational on call for mainly business hours support and occasional after hours

Qualifications
More than 5 years of programming/scripting experience.
Experience working in applications, systems or IT operations
Knowledge of an agile team environment and process
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment
Skills Needed
Experience in general Kubernetes & Ansible is required; Rancher experience is a plus
Experience and knowledge of how SSL certificates work and how to issue them
Software development or scripting skills in languages such as C#, Java, Python, Perl, and Ruby
Overall Linux and Windows server knowledge
Experience with middleware application servers such as Weblogic, JBoss EAP or Fuse
Experience with web/application servers such as IIS, Tomcat, Apache HTTPD, NGINX and etc
Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins
Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
Experience with version control systems such as Git
General networking knowledge - firewalls, VPNs, proxies & Load balancers
