Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Remote working/Home-based Responsible to: Chief Technology Officer The Role: The ideal candidate for this role has in-depth knowledge and experience of architecting, securing, scaling, and administering solutions, in both cloud and on-prem platforms. Hands-on experience with building IaC with Terraform, building and optimizing CI / CD pipelines, knowledge of containerisation with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience using scripting languages or a high level programming language such as C# and .Net. are desired. Main Responsibilities: You will be passionate about automation and DevOps, bringing continuous improvements and industry best practices to our pipelines. Maintaining and improving a Kubernetes-based microservice ecosystem that empowers our application teams to deliver value rapidly and securely. Collaborating with engineering teams to level-up security across our platform - from design, to deployment, to operations, monitoring, upgrade, and maintenance. Technical Insight Essential experience working with: Continuous Integration & CD - Jenkins, Azure DevOps. Containers - Docker, Kubernetes, Helm. Infrastructure as Code - Terraform or other. Linux and Windows systems including networking. One of the following scripting languages: Bash, Powershell, or a high-level programming language such as C# and .Net. Desirable experience working with: Message bussing - Azure Service Bus, Rabbitmq. Azure - Service Fabric, APIM, KeyVault, Container Registeries. Configuring database servers (MySQL, SqlServer, Cassandra).
