About the Role:
Responsible for broad-based operational leadership and support of company's platform hosting technology including hosting environments, servers, applications, cloud infrastructure and automation. This role will work to gather, prepare, and validate requirements including architecture diagrams and service details. This role will build, configure, and deploy servers based on Linux and Windows in VMWare, AWS and OCI to support platform application deployment with high availability and ease of management. This role will build, configure, and deploy CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment and rollback of platform applications.
Experience: Three+ years related experience

Responsibilities and Duties:
 Assist in reducing overall spending of hosting resources
 Assist in the creation and management of documentation such as diagrams, inventories, Trackers, SOP, Runbooks, Work Plans, Response Plans, etc.
 Assist in the identification and gathering of requirements defining a solution to be built and operated in Trax hosting environments.
 Assist in the provisioning of required agents such as CloudHealth, CloudWatch, Salt Minion, NSClient++, NRPE, NRPEP, Zabbix, etc.
 Assist in troubleshooting of build, release, deployment, and operation issues and failures.
 Attend scheduled meetings such as standups, requirements gathering, grooming, readiness, town halls, etc. as assigned.
 Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Artifactory, Git, GitHub, GitLab, Gradle, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, RunDeck, Shell, SonarQube, and SaltStack.
 Create and maintain configurations in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and SaltStack for Configuration Management.
 Create and maintain deployments in different environments such as Dev, SIT, FT/UAT, Prod and Demo.
 Create and maintain firewall rules and security groups per requirements.
 Create and maintain IAM policies, roles, groups and users including access credential management.
 Create and maintain job status notifications via email and/or Office365 Teams channels.
 Create and maintain repositories using tools such as Gitlab/Github to support development activities and version control.
 Create and maintain scripts and templates for automating code and configuration generation, standard implementation tasks and routine activities.
 Create and maintain secure credentials with defined life cycles which follow associated policy and best practices.
 Create and maintain secure deployments which restrict access to all credentials during their life cycle.
 Gain and maintain proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban with best practices applied.
 Gain and maintain proficiency with configuration management tools such as SaltStack and Puppet.
 Gain and maintain proficiency with DevOps team policy, procedures, and processes, including providing recommendations for improvements as identified.
 Gain and maintain proficiency with use of SSH key-based authentication and associated best practices.
 Gain and maintain proficiency with use of SSL certificates and associated best practices.
