What We'll Bring: A software developer is a professional who is charged with designing and building software for businesses and consumers alike. We are looking for a software developer to build and implement functional programs. You will work with other developers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle. Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.

What You'll Bring:
Degree in computer science or any related engineering degree with equivalent work experience in a teachnical environment.
Must have at least 5 years of software development and technical solutioning experience in the field of product development.
Background in financial services (particularly in the field of electronic banking) will be helpful.
Work experience should include business requirements gathering, solution design, development and systems integration with both Windows and Linux systems over SOAP or REST protocols. Experience with different applications servers (Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Weblogic) and RDBMS (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle) is preferred.
Experience in workflow development will be beneficial.
Has a firm grasp of the Microsoft technology stack - ASP.NET on IIS, Web APIs, Windows Services, MS SQL Server, Hangfire or SignalR.
Has database programming experience, e.g. T-SQL, profiling and using ORMs like EF Core or Dapper.
Experience in using SQL Server Reporting Services.
Background with team based source control systems (TFS, Git or Mercurial).
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills while solving a problem and optimizing the overall application.
Experience with web testing automation tools, e.g. Selenium.
Experience with test frameworks, e.g. XUnit, Specflow, etc.
Impact You'll Make:
Participate in determining effort estimates based on the scope and the detailed requirements of the project. Effort estimation can happen during pre-sales, customer implementation, or product development work and enhancements to existing solutions in production.
Work with the product manager, project manager or the solutions architect in identifying best possible approach and design for building the solution.
Develop and unit test the solution according to the signed-off design and requirements of the project. The development must be in accordance to TransUnion prescribed methodology and best practices.
Prepare all relevant documentation needed for the project. This documentation includes and not limited to design specifications, methods and operating procedures, deployment guides, user guides and integration guides.
Provide the relevant QA and UAT support by engaging either the customer or the delivery team to understand the issue reported, investigate the issue and fix the bug. Unit testing the fix and deploying it to the target environment is also expected.
Conduct a technical walkthrough on the solution and/or integration documents, if need be.
Conduct a technical handover to Level 1 and Level 2 Application Support for ongoing support
Monitor and maintain the solution in production during the warranty period.
Conduct relevant training to fellow associates, especially new hires, on how to use/operate proprietary solutions and tools.
At times, provide 2nd level of application support and handle service requests. The developer will be expected to be on call with remote system access to support the team handling customer issue resolution.
