JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position holder is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating projects. Creates plans and gather design requirements for new structures. Controlling projects from start to finish to ensure hig quality, innovative and functional design developing architecture in line with client's needs, building's usage ang environmental impact.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design project and/or review of structural plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with the government codes, law, and regulations.
Advises Subcontractors on the interpretation of p-lans, recommends changes when necessary.
Prepares and/or review preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates relates to the project.
Provides technical expertise in development or review of policies and procedures in relation to architectural structures and system codes and methods of application.
Researches literature and maintain knowledge of current building materials, structural, mechanical and electrical system codes and methods of application.
Review shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to accepted guidelines.
Works with the customer and Clients to gather facts, defines design and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of proposals.
Reviews product literature, analyzes materials and determines appropriateness for application to projects.
Provides advice and develop design documents to initiate and modify architectural design space planning solutions.
Performs design drafting including preliminary drawings, working drawings and full detail drawings for architectural, structural and mechanical works associated with the building construction or improvement projects.
Provides finish selections including color palettes, carpet and wall finishes, lightning and other various interior selection.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a professional license in the field civil engineering / ASEP Member.
Several years required of experience.
Ability to successfully lead a team of disciplines and consultants
Seld-directed with clear communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to organize project design development and production delivery
Work with governing authorities on obtaining building permits, documenting code review and approvals
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and adjust work accordingly, often against fast deadlines.
