Design EngineerYOFC INTERNATIONAL (PHILIPPINES) CORPORATION

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Site identification for GIS survey;
2. Updating shape files as per GIS survey output;
3. Coordinating with customer for GIS survey approval;
4. Helping customer for FTTH planning;
5. OSP Network field survey for brown filed and green filed sites;
6. OSP civil and cable design using Auto CAD;
7. Exporting design drawings in specific templates;
8. BoQ for FTTH designs;
9. Coordination with customer for design approval;
10. Helping permits team with design drawings;
11. Helping FTTH implementation teams related to preparing As-built package for hand-over.
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent;
2. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
3. Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent;
4. SYSTEM SKILLS - Computer Skills, Design tools like ESRI Arc GIS, CRM Tools, Automatic Work Flow Tools, Google Earth, AutoCAD, Micro Station, Site Survey Tools;
5. DESIGN SKILLS - FTTH Design Rules, Materials, Test Tools and Equipment, FTTH Standard;
6. ENGINEERING SKILLS - Optimizing FTTH Design, FMIS, Route Selection, BOQ;
Functions in an engineer or technical specialist capacity under general supervision. Performs all aspects of conventional outside plant (OSP) design engineering and analysis. Broadens knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
