DEMAND PLANNER
 
Summary
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting customer demand and ensuring the right products are available at the right time. This role helps balance supply and demand by working closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
 
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate demand forecasts based on sales trends, market data, and customer orders.
Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to capture upcoming promotions, new product launches, and seasonal demand changes.
Monitor stock levels and align forecasts with inventory and supply plans.
Analyze forecast accuracy and suggest improvements to reduce gaps.
Provide regular demand reports and insights to management for decision-making.
Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to ensure product availability and smooth distribution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
At least 2-3 years' experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain (FMCG experience preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
