Job Description
Determines accurate demand plans to satisfy customer requirements by applying statistical forecasting techniques, evaluating the operational environment, and using collaborative input from various sources for normal business as well as outliers (e.g. promotions, price changes).
Develops short-term forecasts based on production cycle times and measure against sales to increase accuracy for subsequent forecasts.
Analyzes, plans and develops the M+4 forecast to minimize future variance
Improves the Forecast Accuracy to manage the inventory policy and working capital
Minimizes forecast bias in Sales Forecasting to mitigate the risk of stock out and high inventory
Prepares and organizes the Sales and Operations Planning
Collaborates with multi-functional teams to develop consensus forecast, incorporating sales and marketing activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or any related course
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the related field
With experience in Sales and Operation Planning Process
With experience in ERP systems such as JDA is an advantage
Strong analytical skills
