ROLE CONTEXT
You are expected to deliver on commitments, overseeing the overall delivery process in close coordination with leadership and regional office teams. This includes monitoring and managing budgets, risks, schedules, quality, project governance, delivery processes, technical performance, and architecture. Moreover, the individual is tasked with offering guidance to people managers, delivery managers, project managers, business system analysts, SMEs, and technical leads across all facets of individual platforms and projects.
Ownership of Overall Delivery Management: Responsible for the holistic delivery of multiple engagements, including budget management, risk mitigation, scheduling, velocity optimization, quality assurance, architectural considerations, technical performance, and the transition to production. Collaboration with leadership is essential to align with market objectives and priorities.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the single point of contact for day-to-day delivery matters, encompassing delivery progress, system/platform availability, and performance.
Team and Capability Management: Oversee people management processes, including hiring and capacity-building efforts in collaboration with various teams. Manage workforce forecasts and utilization, facilitating movement across projects and programs.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Foster collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes. Conduct governance meetings and provide status reports to keep all stakeholders informed.
Financial Management: Work with partners to project resource needs and manage monthly financials effectively.
Technology and Delivery Guidance: Provide guidance on technology and delivery to project teams, while also tending to employee engagement initiatives.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Delivery Management Skills and Experience: Demonstrates strong Delivery Management skills with extensive experience in managing multiple parallel projects and programs. Proficiently handles aspects such as scheduling, quality assurance, budget management, estimation, architecture, technical performance, processes, personnel management, recruitment, and building future capabilities.
Digital Transformation Expertise: Brings previous experience in digital transformation, particularly in the areas of Cloud, DevOps, API integration, and Modernization, within an agile delivery model.
Technical Leadership and Team Management: Collaborates effectively with technical teams to define solutions and drive project execution plans. Brings experience in managing large teams, including overseeing over a couple of hundred team members.
Customer and Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders and customers.
Decision-Making and Innovation: Exhibits a strong ability to build consensus and drive decision-making processes. Showcases innovative thinking capable of overcoming barriers and offering unique solutions.
Process Optimization and Communication: Proficiently defines and optimizes processes while developing and enhancing best practices.
