Job Summary: Ensures the timely and safe delivery of products to designated locations; conducts regular maintenance on assigned vehicle; and assists in sales activities or order preparation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicles is in top condition.
Drives vehicles to designated destinations for product deliveries within set deadlines
Determines appropriate routes and maintain delivery schedule.
Reviewing route sheets to establish daily delivery quotas.
Proposing alterations to route sheets, where applicable.
inspecting invoices to ascertain all stock requirements.
Loading merchandise thoughtfully to facilitate quick access.
Collaborating with Drivers' Assistants to unload stock.
Carting pertinent stock to our customers.
Collecting defective and otherwise ill-suited merchandise
Issuing customers with dated delivery notes
Prepares and submits driving logs, vehicle performance forms, and other required paper work.
Notifies supervisors regarding accidents and injuries, and necessary repairs and maintenance.
Assists in order and delivery preparation (Ex. Tagging, Checking, etc.)
Assists in selling during activities or events (Ex. Competition, Window Display, etc.)
Education, Training and Experience:
High School graduate or graduate of any vocational course.
Professional Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent driving skills
Vehicle mechanical repair, maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge in road safety, traffic routes, traffic rules and regulations
The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals.
Demonstrable, varied experience as a warehouse driver.
Commercial driver's license
Unsoiled driving history
Knowledgeable about relevant vehicle weight restrictions
Customer- oriented, communicative and efficient.
Physically strong
Punctual and reliable
Clean driving record.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Php15,000.00 per month
