Description
The Dealer Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis the assigned dealership and fleet consistently and profitably meets Service & Parts sales revenues and profits, in a highly competitive work environment and customer satisfaction targets. Acting as a Business Consultant for the Dealership and Fleets, helping them to set and achieve challenging and sustainable goals.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To manage and coach dealers / fleets in order to improve their service and repair turnover and capability. This must be achieved in a manner that also maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
2. To achieve the parts objective issued for the respective dealership.
3. To achieve the CSI objective issued for the respective dealership.
4. To ensure that dealers are continually aware of their compliance to the standards and that the agreed process is followed.
5. Ensure all Aftersales training are attended by the relevant dealer personnel and that the required level of skill certification is achieved.
6. Conducts regular visit and performance reviews with dealers and agree corrective actions where required. Ensures the owner of the business is kept fully aware of the critical issues.
7. Ensures all KPI data is used effectively to ensure the dealers perform to the required level.
8. Develop a business-like relationship with the dealerships in order to provide the network with an integrated management approach.
