The function provides a systematic, disciplined approach to examine, evaluate and report objectively on the adequacy of both the design and operating effectiveness of the systems of internal control and the effectiveness of risk management and governance processes. What we'll offer you Competitive Salary Attractive Retirement Benefit Medical and Life Insurance upon employment 20 days Annual Vacation Leaves Your key responsibilities Leading complex / global audits covering the Finance function, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to the underlying risks. Planning and executing audit fieldwork in line with the agreed audit approach e.g. documenting Activity Flows, identification of key risks, testing of key controls to determine whether they are properly designed and are operating effectively and documenting work in accordance with divisional standards. Leading and undertaking audit assignments, drafting audit reports for review by audit management, writing and agreeing high quality findings, facilitating finding tracking and validating closure of findings (as required). Reviewing and providing expert opinions on action plans provided by stakeholders, helping them develop robust remediation plans. Acting as a challenger to finding owners in the findings closure process. Partnering with other divisional/teams during audit engagement to guarantee an integrated approach. Communicating openly with divisional management and internal stakeholders, keeping them informed of potential issues and escalate problems/delays accordingly. Your skills and experience Bachelor's Degree in either Accountancy or Business equivalent degree, while further professional qualification or study .e.g. CPA, CIMA, CIA, CISA will be an advantage Extensive relevant experience gained either as working in a 2nd line Finance function such as Tax, Transfer Pricing, Infrastructure / Business Finance, as well as to other business / product, legal entity and Group Finance teams; or direct internal / external audit experience of these functions. Internal audit and /or audit experience in the investment banking industry with knowledge of internal auditing standards and concepts will be preferred. Understanding of key risks and regulatory requirements relevant for the Bank's Finance function, strong knowledge of auditing standards and concepts, and sound knowledge of banking activities, including capital market products and their accounting and regulatory reporting requirements. Strong relationship management, analytical, problem solving, communication, influencing, planning and presentation skills. Able to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organisation, transfer knowledge and develop capability of team members.
