Job Title: DBMN - Global Securities Operations Lead - Assistant Vice President

Operations provides support for all of Deutsche Bank's businesses to enable them to deliver transactions and processes to clients. Our people work in established global financial centres such as London, New York, Frankfurt and Singapore, as well as specialist development and service centres in locations including Bucharest, Moscow, Pune, Dublin and Cary. We process payments in excess of a trillion euros across the bank's platforms, support thousands of trading desks and enable millions of banking transactions, share trades and emails every day.
Your key responsibilities
Ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy of processing as per client's SLA; Manage end to end Custody-Asset Servicing Process, including review and authorisation of transactions/payments as well as managing client, internal and regulatory reporting; Monitor volume inflow and ensure sufficient resource and workflow allocation in a justifiable manner
Serve as technical operational expert for queries from clients/team members etc.; Building a strong mechanism to take care of high volume and complex Corporate Actions events during peak season; Ensure strict adherence to all internal and external process guidelines including compliance and legal so as to build and maintain robust control environment; Identifying operational risks proactively and mitigating appropriately.
Work very closely with the process owners/stakeholders and other internal clients for overall growth of the bank's business; Handling BAU to process end to end Corporate Actions events, FX/Cash processing for offshore and local clients, FX and Regulatory reporting for Philippine market, break analysis and escalations, follow up with stakeholders; Coordinate the activities of the team related to asset servicing, trade processing and reporting
Ensure effective operating models in place within Custody Operations to achieve operational and cost targets; Ensure effective procedures in place to perform all responsibilities and deliverables accurately and in a timely manner and in line with policies and standards
Participate in new client launches to assess impact and operational requirement to support new business and coordinate new client on-boarding with sales and integration; Lead process improvement and report automation projects/testing driven locally and by the region; Mentor/Support developmental training and participate in the performance review of staff
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's experience in Business related course and extensive experience in financial industry with the majority of experience in Custody and Payments environment; proven experience working in various custody functions, including Custody asset servicing, trade processing and settlements
Demonstrated experience in payment execution environment and have technical skills in payment formatting and payment infrastructure; Risk & Regulatory reporting background would be preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Strong analytical skills and ability to transform complex issues into efficient solutions; Proven Leadership and people management skills is essential; Maturely and properly handle confidential information
Applicant must have ability and desire to work in a busy, high performance environment, managing tight deadlines; Desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment; Self-motivated, independently, fast thinking, dynamic; Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
