About DPG
DPG provides bespoke solutions across credit products (loans, bonds and securities) and the capital structure to Australasian domiciled clients. It is sector agnostic and operates principally in the private markets. Investments are sector agnostic, ranging from large granular portfolios to mid/large cap single names, and capital structure agnostic where Deutsche Bank can take senior, mezzanine or equity positions.

Your key responsibilities
Liaising with sponsors, brokers, agents, lenders, administrators and investment bankers to assist with origination; Undertaking detailed financial due diligence.
Construction and maintenance of financial models from simple cash flow models to large, complex and structured transactions models.
Detailed market analysis and assistance in asset underwriting
Assist in the preparation of credit and investment memoranda for internal committees and external syndication / distribution; Assist in the negotiation of finance documents
Deal management of existing portfolio including preparation of internal updates comparing actual performance to business plan and budget
Your skills and experience
Extensive years of experience in underwriting and executing transactions in loan or debt capital markets, structured finance, principal investment or corporate / investment banking
Strong financial modeling skills (i.e. Excel), A deep understanding of credit and investment analysis. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
Previous client interaction and negotiation experience, Highly quantitative and experienced in execution
Skilled in market analysis, structure analysis and documentation, Motivated, innovative, detail oriented, with a focus on efficiency
Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written, Able and eager to work towards tight deadlines, A proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills
