Job Description:
The Cash Operations Lead manages the Cash Operations product areas in the local branch. Plays a key role in facilitating communication between functional teams to share knowledge and good practice, and to foster a focus on process and performance efficiency. Also responsible in building and managing stakeholder relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties, particularly around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Your key responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the department and ensure the team meets agreed customer service standards, internal and external cut-off times and strict compliance with internal and external policies and guidelines
Establish clear operating processes, operating manuals and key operating procedures for existing and new products and services, new systems and upgrades
Consulted on setting service level standards, defining product strategy including NPA approvals, defining/prioritizing regional or global projects affecting Branch Operations
Implement appropriate procedures and controls including proper accounting, reporting requirements in support of new products and services
Drive effective change culture within the cash operations team
Effective stakeholder management with Business, Product and Technology
Plan and manage effective business continuity procedures in compliance with Business Continuity Management (BCM) guidelines
Manage the Cash Services and Pre-processing team of the branch and be responsible for the development and training of staff
Your skills and experience
Business Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or equivalent degree
Proven work experience in an operations environment. Prior experience, particularly Cash operations - payment and clearing services - will be ideal
Knowledge of automation toolkits such as Tableau, Alteryx and Robotic Process Automation will be a plus
Working knowledge of human centered design/ design thinking will be favourably considered
Expert-level analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
Experience in delivering Ops efficiency projects & motivating ideation to drive innovation
