What will your job look like?
-Handling physical and applicative database administration activities supporting end 2 end life cycle of product from database perspective
-Ensuring appropriate storage for the DBMS and enabling DBMS to work with storage devices and storage management software
-Guiding developers, assist them with database structure design as of business needs (e.g. indexes, constraints, integrity)
-Production layout preparation and installation per standard, policy and Business requirements
-Contributing to automation, standards and Database Processes by leading a whole thread activity to his maturity (Documentation, Publication to line) and taking part in modification of existing processes and methods
-Coordinating with other teams stakeholders to provide DB related expertise and problem solving services to all stakeholders during all project lifecycle (from Development till post production) by clarifying and addressing temporary and permanent solutions to unusual problems.
All you need is...
-At least 3 years' experience in Oracle Database Administration
-Scripting; Shell Scripting/Python (At least 6 months)
-Amenable for on call support.
-Hadoop/Cloudera /no SQL DB experience(good to have).
-IBM CDC replication knowledge (good to have)
