Summary of This Role
Creates, codes, debugs, maintains and implements applications. Analyzes existing applications or formulates logic for new applications, devises logic procedures, performs coding and debugs programs. Maintains and utilizes application and programming documents in the development of code. Develops application implementation plans throughout the life cycle. Works closely with onsite end users to understand business needs, writes specifications, performs system and data analysis, implements and modifies systems and creates detailed test plans, as well as providing testing, troubleshooting and support across systems.
What Part Will You Play?
Provides guidance to programming, business, and technology teams as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the evaluation, development, and implementation of basic to highly complex code for internal and external client software solutions. Provides best practices advice in the design, creation and delivery of routine to highly complex program specifications for code development, and support for multiple, highly complex projects and issues with a comprehensive understanding of the application and/or area as it relates to assigned projects; provides in-depth analysis and interpretation on how functional areas interact.
Evaluates, develops and implements insightful and logical corrective measures for highly complex deficiencies and forwards systemic proposals to leadership.
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), recommends and interprets application documentation, procedures, methodologies and standards. Provides guidance and support with a comprehensive in-depth knowledge of testing and validation for basic to highly complex code changes.
Provides strategic guidance to leadership on the design, development and enforcement of business/infrastructure application standards to include the associated controls, procedures, and monitoring to ensure compliance and accuracy of data.
Provides SME advice for estimates on highly complex initiatives, projects and issues.
Performs on-the-job training and provides SME guidance to developers.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experience
Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp
System design and development in a client server environment
Preferred Qualifications

Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Engineering

Experience in an analytical, research, or project management environment in the credit card or software industry; programming experience with .Net development, including C# and C++
