Job Description
Successful implementation of Database infrastructure projects within defined timelines.
Documentation and Knowledge Management: This KPI evaluates the completeness and accuracy of database documentation, including schemas, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. It ensures the availability of up-to-date information for efficient database management.
Database Uptime: This KPI measures the availability and reliability of the database system. It tracks the percentage of time the database is up and running without any unplanned outages or downtime.
Management of strategic relationships with key product and service providers, to ensure performance of vendor partners and alignment with the SLA and OLA commitments related to database systems.
High availability and reliability of Database services.
Hiring Requirements
Proficiency in various relational database management systems (RDBMS) platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres and etc.
Strong understanding of Database concepts, architectures, and technologies.
Experience in Database Management, High availability Setup and Troubleshooting
WORK EXPERIENCE
3-4 years experience of work as Database Administrator
Experience in High availability and disaster recovery.
Experience Backup and recovery strategies.
LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE
Relational Databases: Understanding relational database concepts, including tables, fields, relationships, and normalization. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) for querying and manipulating data in relational databases
Database Management Systems (DBMS): Familiarity with popular DBMS platforms like MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and their respective features and functionalities.
Database Administration: Understanding database administration tasks such as installation, configuration, backup and recovery, security management, and performance tuning.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
