Job Summary:
The Solutions Architect oversees the creation, design, and execution of technical resolutions within the organization. This role will provide technical advice, support, and strategy to help identify business problems and take the lead in the building of new systems in delivering digital transformation. In addition, the role will help the business specify, design, and select information systems that deliver great value to the organization.
The Solutions Architect will be responsible in delivering innovative solutions to challenging organizational problems. The role will engage directly with operations partners to capture business requirements and transform these thorough analysis and design into technical solutions.
Accountabilities:
Act as the lead for the translation of business objectives and requirements into functional solutions..
Prepare and document testing requirements as well as all test data.
Facilitate brainstorming sessions and provide direction to identify systems solutions.
Design and develop technical solutions based on existing technologies.
Drive digital transformation across the business and support cultural changes.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the organization to understand strategy and agree information systems solutions to meet business needs.
Lead in designing, specifying and selecting information systems solutions, considering functionality, data, architectural framework, security, integration, infrastructure and performance.
Prepare solution roadmaps and identify enabling solutions.
Work collaboratively with the project team to develop new offerings and ensure that established solutions are followed.
Ensure that that approach for developing solutions is refined and improved over time and that feedback and recommendations are incorporated as appropriate.
Perform systems reviews to make sure that the implementation aligns with architectural plans and roadmaps.
Design, coordinate, and execute pilots, prototypes of proofs of concept, provide validation on specific scenarios.
Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in any field
Must exhibit strong expertise in Python or other OOP languages
An understanding of Web Applications, DB Query Languages and RESTful APIs
Working knowledge on ETL, design, SQL, and data management
Ability to learn quickly, check details, meet deadlines and grasp product and process are business requirements to be able to effectively manage operations and assist in process improvement initiatives
Strong interpersonal skills and can easily build and sustain trust-based relationships with all levels of the organization
Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, project management
Strong attention to detail with ability to identify missing information, errors, trends, and areas of concern
Must be in current role for 1 year
Must not have received any Disciplinary Action within the past 12 months
