About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
The Data Operations group is responsible for client 'portfolio' data flows, both inbound and outbound, interfacing with various Citco applications. The global group has representation in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America providing business support for all Operations as it concerns portfolio data flow needs. This support must be provided seamlessly with all regions working together in a follow-the-sun model. The group has both an operational and a strategic mandate to fulfill which is accomplished through a location strategy that combines presence in strategic locations close to our client needs and leveraging scale, standardization and centralization in Centre of Excellence (CoE) locations.
As a core member of our Market Data team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role:
You will manage a Market Data (Corporate Actions/Dividends) team consisting of Team Leaders, Analysts and Senior Analysts within the Data Operations department.
You will oversee the assignment of your team's work and ensure that staff are prioritizing appropriately so that SLAs are met.
You will work closely with your team to ensure high levels of quality across client deliverables, ensuring that both SLA breaches and processing errors are kept at manageable levels.
You will need to have an in-depth understanding of the risks and best practice protocols required to be able to service your clients and you will be diligent reviewing the work of others, assisting and coaching them to success.
You will assist with new migrations and conversions by participating in onboarding projects, working with Client Integration or the client to establish the Corporate Actions-related services required for the fund, and implementation of daily workflows.
You will ensure the team is able to work effectively, troubleshooting technical issues and work with the Team Leader to ensure that people are well matched to their work.
You will coach and develop staff to perform successfully in their current roles and develop them into leadership positions through provision of formal and informal feedback.
You will oversee staff development within team, including interviewing, goal setting, and performance management.
You will be a Subject Matter Expert in your department, available as a resource for both internal and external stakeholders, globally.
You will suggest areas of improvement to your VP and follow through with establishing project plans to implement improvements.
You will manage team improvement projects by delegating the work effectively to meet objectives.
You will report into the VP of Data Operations.
About You:
You have a Bachelor or Master level degree
You have a minimum 5 years' experience in Financial Services
You have knowledge of Hedge or Mutual Funds
You have corporate actions and project experience
You have product knowledge of equities, fixed income, swaps, and other financial instruments
You have advanced skills in MS Excel
You have familiarity with Bloomberg and/or IHS Markit
You have the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in person
You are adaptable and perceptive
