Master Data Management Specialist

In this role/capacity, you will have an opportunity to work on massive amount of data across different legacy systems. Apart from data enrichment, you will have an avenue to do data analysis based on different information associated to Emerson's customers. Your expertise in data management and analysis will enable you to provide actionable insights to Sales and even Marketing team.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Research company locations evaluate industry code information from company websites, industry websites, and BU and LBP sources to determine accurate industry codes for each site and a master industry code that best represents the Automation Solutions' overall business with that customer. Work closely with business leaders and hiring managers to develop and execute strategies to attract, engage and maintain a diverse, highly-qualified set of candidate pipelines to meet the hiring demands.
Review sets of company and contact records identified as potential merges, research anomalies, correct data and perform merges.
Perform address standardization using Address Doctor data. Monitor Postal Standard of assigned countries.
Review company records and ensure that primary address and operational addresses are grouped correctly.
Research and correct company address and sales information that failed the imports process to facilitate manual loading of data in the Global Data Management System.
Create and update company, industry, and custom groupings based on company hierarchies and relationship.
Handle requests related to sales information modifications in CRM.
Perform targeted clean-up through data enrichment processes & forms.
Provide recommendations to enhance (not limited to) forms/workbenches in the GDM system.
Perform thorough system testing for enhancements and new releases of the GDM system. Provide detailed test results to the leads and/or the POCs.
Act as single point of contact, perform all data reviews and work closely with the account leaders/site team leaders to ensure accuracy of company hierarchy, group composition, and core team database.
Provide custom reports not only for the information stored in the GDM System but also in the Oracle Betsy (relating to address, terms, billing/purchasing instructions, tax information, banking details, contacts, Item Master Setup; parent/child, credit check, hierarchy relationships; JDE Buyer Number, Commission/Commodity Code). Write SQL scripts based from the user's requirements.
FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or any business-related fields
Working knowledge of the different Microsoft applications
Exposure in TOAD, Oracle applications, PL/SQL and Oracle forms
Knowledge in Tableau, Power BI, Power Query, and other reporting tools
