Job Overview:
Are you keen to details? Are you good in analysis? A Data Entry Specialist links paper information and computer data. Beyond just simple encoding, it requires careful data checking and validation, and a healthy knowledge in basic Accounting. Data is only useful if it's accurate; a good candidate believes and practices this.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle information or data from different sources, and enter it into an electronic data system for storage and analysis
Recheck validity, accuracy, and completeness of information & supporting documents, for data entry
Able to correctly resolve errors spotted
Synchronize coordination with other personnel affecting documents
Generate authorized reports
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Requirements and Qualifications:
Holder of a Bachelor's degree or certificate in any accounting course, or similar
At least 2 years of proven work experience using data analysis & entry skills, with application of basic Accounting principles
Computer Skills:
Computer literate, especially in using SAP B1, MS Office Applications (Word, Excel), and email application. Can touch-type, with a WPM of at least 55 words per minute (WPM).
Keen on details, analytical, and able to apply business & accounting logic
Good in time management, able to balance output and accuracy, & can multitask
Good vision, being able to read information and see well the prints or handwriting on documents
Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to continuously improve performance
