HR Data and Analytics is a centralized global team responsible for all aspects of workforce data strategy, analytics and reporting, and governance, and includes the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) based solutions. Position Overview & Responsibilities:
As a data architect, you will design information architecture to enable business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable business insights and recommendations to senior management, using such tools as AWS S3, Athena, Glue, EMR, Spark, SQL, Redshift, QuickSight, Alteryx, SAP BO, Tableau and Visier.
You will work directly with HR product teams to understand requirements, partner with other members of HR Data and Analytics to understand data inputs and visual presentation, partner with IT teams to build scalable data pipeline and ensure use of appropriate technology platforms.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with HR product leads to understand clients' needs, identify integration points, data flows and work with IT team to build data pipelines into the data lake and data warehouse
Explore data sources, identify gaps, design optimal data flows and ensure timely delivery of data
Review data issues, identify the root cause and ensure quick resolution.
Lead engagement with IT team for delivering HR data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics and reporting
Monitor data volumes, data availability times. Plan and execute alternate solutions to ensure time availability of data
Ensure conformance with all applicable controls, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, business analytics or similar technical subject
Expertise with ETL using SQL, Spark and associated tools. Knowledge and experience of data processing in public cloud environments is required
Knowledge of BI tools, such as Tableau, Quicksight, SAP Business Objects, Qlik and Visier.
Hands-on experience building data pipelines on AWS
Experience with relational databases utilizing SQL to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses
Hands-on skills and experience in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and the tools with Alteryx
Experience with HR data and general understanding of systems - HR, Recruit, Time & Attendance, and Pay etc.
Practical software development experience in collaborative project settings, including rapid prototyping and disciplined software development processes
Strong project management skills - track record of driving execution and delivery
Ability to operate in an agile environment, which requires flexibility in competing priorities
Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data
Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data and to understand the underlying business context and sense opportunities hidden in data
Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and partners from a variety of business functions
Self-starter who can provide thought leadership and drive results in a dynamic and fast evolving environment
Amenable to working onsite following US hours
