The Data Centre Sales Engineer will play a key role in delivering technical infrastructure solutions to enterprise and multinational clients, supporting the sales team throughout the solutioning and engagement process. Engage with prospective customers to understand their technical needs, challenges, and infrastructure requirements
Translate customer requirements into viable, scalable technical solutions using defined processes and best practices
Support customer engagements such as site tours, technical presentations, and solution workshops
Assist with the preparation and coordination of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses in collaboration with the commercial team
Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of the company's data centre capabilities, services, and infrastructure offerings
Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Customer Success, Implementation, and Operations to ensure seamless solution delivery and transition from pre-sales to execution
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical solutioning role in the data centre industry
Strong understanding of data centre technical specifications and terminology (power, cooling, space, connectivity, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and customer-focused proposals
