Function of the Department & Main Purpose of the Job
The Data Center & Infrastructure Team Lead will oversee Data Center and IT Network (physical) Infrastructure functions. This role will proactively manage the infrastructure networking technology of Bastion and OPI. Responsibilities include working patching, maintenance, monitoring and implementation of networking solutions for both Bastion and OPI. Must possess strong collaboration and infrastructure design skills across multiple technologies to facilitate customer requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement and support of IT physical network infrastructure including off site locations and remote business offices. Included but not limited to servers, switches and routers and wireless solutions.
Create and operate support model for infrastructure by leveraging in house resources and partners.
Develop redundancy and high availability solutions at mission critical sites.
Support the security and audit teams regarding periodic audits and cyber security risk mitigation
Provide services to various technology stakeholders to leverage security controls that ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information utilized throughout company's business applications
Help analyze and facilitate the selection of technology solutions for OPI, BPS and partners
Support OPI, BPS and partner platforms to accommodate growth, resiliency and mitigation of on-premise applications
Oversee and monitor infrastructure capex and cost budgeting and resources planning.
Manage, mentor and motivate team members to enhance individual performance and develop team capabilities
Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Perform other tasks or duties that are deemed fit by management from time to time
Qualifications
Bachelor's / Computer Science, Engineering, or technology course.
Total experience of at least 7 years and above, must have solid 5 years of actual network administration on Cisco-based enterprise networks, cables, wiring, servers and similar equipment.
At least 1-2 years of leading network teams.
Willing to work in Salcedo, Makati
Competencies Required
Solid skills in configuration, design, and maintaining high speed networks are a must.
Must demonstrate experience in 24x7 operations, VPN, VLAN, and other related technologies.
CCNA or CCNP, but demonstrated skills are given priority
Awareness and interest in cyber security are a plus and will be given priority
Ability to contribute to design, document, and improve network and systems security policies, procedures
Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
