· Assist in the physical monitoring of all servers, peripherals, switches and other devices inside the Data Center facilities to work properly
· Assist in the escalation of problems and incidents monitored inside the Data Center facilities
· Assist in performing back-up management and as required; organizing, maintaining records and coordinating off-site media storage (SMC and subsidiaries).
· Assist in performing orderly start-up and shutdown of servers and peripherals as required
· Assist in the physical monitoring and management of the systems inside the three (3) data center facilities, such as:
o Precision Air-Condition Units (PACU)
o Air-Condition Units (ACU)
o Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
o Fire Suppression System (FSS)
o CCTV
o Security Access Card System
o Water Leak Detection System
o Environment Monitoring System (Text messaging system - MM2K)
· Provides assistance to preventive maintenance conducted by 3rd party vendors as required and coordinate problems with senior DCO personnel, affiliates and/or suppliers.
· Assist in the preparation, replacement and loading of back-up tapes of servers and tape libraries of SMC and its subsidiaries.
· Transfer back-up tapes for restore from the different Data Center facilities (DC1, DC2 and DC3).
