About the Data Architect (MS Azure, Group-Up Project) Role:
In this Data Architect role, you will have the opportunity to participate in the data warehouse architecture, data modelling, extract transform and load (ETL) processes as well as work with other team members in troubleshooting and assuring quality of the data warehouse for a renowned FMCG company in Pasig City.
Key Responsibilities:
Use expertise in data architecture to design and build data warehouse solutions
Develop various ETL processes and perform troubleshoot on all ETL processes and resolve issues effectively
Develop relational and dimensional data models in support of DW/BI projects
Prepare designs for database systems and recommend improvements for performance
Provide support to all data warehouse initiatives
Create, and keep current, documentation to support development work
To succeed in the (MS Azure, Ground-Up Project) role you will need to have a good understanding of MS Azure data warehouse architecture, data modelling, and ETL processes.
Key Requirements:
More than five years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, and ETL processes
Well-versed in a MS Azure environment
Experience with a non-relational database e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Experience with big data tools e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, etc.
Experience with streaming processing tools e.g. Storm, Spark, etc.
