The Data and Cost Analyst is responsible in generating timely and accurate procurement reports and analytics which will aid in fact-based sourcing strategy planning and execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares the monthly Price Bulletin for raw, packaging and indirect materials per category and business unit including effect on total spend.
Prepares the product profitability per SKU and materials cost movement through Product Costing and Margin Summary Report for every price increase of direct materials.
Generates the monthly actual savings report for material and services spend.
Spend data management
Generate spend data from SAP ERP
Validate completeness and accuracy
Validate material data elements (material group, unspsc, supplier)
Collates monthly URC International Purchase Summary Report of Raw, Packaging materials and Fuel Oil prices; then provides the management with Comparative Regional Pricing in US dollar.
Prepares the quarterly comparative spend report for the Top 20 most common materials.
Reconciles the monthly price trend of the Top 20 most common materials based on CNF price.
Reconciles the monthly energy usage and Foreign exchange rate of each region based on the summary of purchases provided by each region.
Monitors GP Performance by comparing actual materials cost ratio vs. budget materials cost ratio
Ensures adherence to ISO 9001:2008 QMS
Monitors Procurement Department's operating and capital expenditures budget for each year.
Performs other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be college graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
Must be computer literate, with basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools
Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
With above average analytical skills and attentive to details
Must be able to relate well with people
Must be hardworking, patient, and organized
Experience with Power BI an advantage
Experience in marketing analysis an advantage
