The Role
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the strategy and initiatives. The Data Analyst will help develop and understand the metrics and levers which will drive the KPIs of the retail banking segment. This role will have the opportunity to be exposed to multiple business units (Acquisition, Cross-sell, Customer Experience, Products, and other Data Teams) to gather requirements in creating reports and analysis. They must be able to transform data into effective data stories where insights can be drawn by the business.
How you'll contribute
Comfortable working with large amounts of data from multiple data warehouses and/or data marts in multiple forms. Creates data relationships/ queries/ scripts to clean, harmonize, and transform data in preparation for analysis/ analytics
Creates business-aligned reports/ dashboards/ visualizations that enable actionable insights which are further translated to proven strategic results
Develops, designs and continuously refines the current mode of operations financial metrics to track (NPS, Customer Growth, PPR growth, revenue per customer, attrition, frontline productivity,), include metrics that are linked to strategic themes for SBU
Explores, develops, designs, and continuously refines new future mode of operations metrics better aligned to the customer-centric goal of the bank including the measurement of new product bundles/ initiatives as well as cross-sell
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's or College degree
Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience in data & business analysis and insights
Must have a good presentation skills
Must be expert in SAS (data extraction), SQL, Excel, and Power BI
Experience in coding (Python preferably) and/or Pyspark is not required but a plus
